Description:

As An Infant Toddler Specialist, You Will:

Provide on-site program support and coaching for early childhood providers and other community members across the WNY region, with a focus on Erie County – facilitating quality improvement plans, conducting program assessments, and providing feedback.
Assist in the planning and implementation of a professional development curriculum that meets the diverse needs of child care providers, CCRC staff, and regulatory personnel in the WNY region
Conduct training sessions that meet the diverse needs of the WNY community
Represent the Infant Toddler Specialist network and agency at community and professional meetings and trainings

What You’ll Bring to this Position:

Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field and three years of relevant experience working directly with infants and toddlers; OR a related Associate Degree with six years of direct experience.
Sound knowledge of Infant Toddler Development in particular
Excellent human relations skills as well as the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people including the current predominant linguistic, racial and ethnic populations of Western New York
Willingness to present to groups of varied sizes
Available to travel throughout eight WNY counties
Available to work occasional evenings and weekends
Multilingual in English and Spanish or other languages that would support servicing our customers, a plus.
