Description:

School Professionals is hiring for teachers to join our Substitute Teacher pool. We are looking for teachers who are punctual, have a love for teaching, and possess 3+ months of experience working with students.

 

School Professionals offers opportunities for day-to-day, short-term, and multi-month assignments. This offers our teachers the ability to create their own schedule, and get hands-on experience while still finishing up their degrees. We service Manhattan and the surrounding five boroughs.

Responsibilities:

  • Work during school hours (can be anywhere between 7 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday - Friday), at least some days each month.
  • Carry out the professional duties of a classroom lead teacher
  • Adhere to school policies and School Professionals policies
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive classroom environment

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in any subject or field
  • At least 3 months experience in a teaching, childcare, or analogous position with infants - age 5.
  • Able to teach from a variety of backgrounds and skill sets.
  • Able to build rapport with children.
  • Dependable and punctual attendance.
Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
