UPK Group Teacher

Description:

Group Teacher and Assistant Teacher positions available for 3K and  4K classrooms.

Teachers are responsible for working within the framework of the sponsoring agencies of the program.

All teachers are responsible to develop a program of sound educational goals appropriate  to to the age and developmental level of the children.

All teachers work under the Supervision of the Educational Director. The programs' work hours are 8:00  to 3:30 or 8:30 to 4:00 pm.

Vacation Days and Sick Time are accumulated and approved depending on time earned.

Teachers are also supported by the Department Of Education Education Specialist Team.

Responsibilities:

Teachers will be responsible to share with his or  her assistant in developing a program of sound educational goals. appropriate to the age and developmental level of the

children which will enable them to make the most of their future educational opportunities. He or she will be responsible in sharing with the classroom team their mutual

knowledge and understanding  of the sponsoring agency and the community which their center serves.

All teachers are responsible for promoting sound parent relationships. Maintaining objective staff relationship..

Cooperating in Self Evaluation. and be willing to accept administrative responsibility if offered.
