Description:

Park Slope Schoolhouse is currently looking for a part-time Afternoon Assistant Teacher from Mondays - Fridays from 2:30pm-6:30pm. $22/hour. There's the opportunity of a signing bonus of $500 after the first 3 months of employment and part-time teachers receive 5 paid sick/personal days. 

Responsibilities:

• Assist with planning, preparing and implementing developmentally appropriate individual and group activities.

• Assist with setting up and maintaining a clean, safe and healthy classroom environment.

• Interact in a caring and professional manner with children and families while recognizing and maintaining confidentiality standards and requirements.


 

Qualifications:

• CDA or college credits preferred

• Experience with children ages 1 - 4

• A collaborative work ethic

• Ability to positively relate to and effectively communicate with children and families

• Ability to make a positive impact on early childhood developmental needs


 

Minimum Education Level: CDA Credential
Preferred Education Level: Some College Credits
