Description:

Early childhood classroom experience is a must. It is important that you be a "natural" with children, quick to learn, and willing to grow in our setting. We are looking for someone who is quick on their feet and always thinking ahead for the safety of the children. Our ideal candidate is reliable, organized, communicative, prompt, and thorough when it comes to tidying and cleaning the space and caring for the children. 

Job Type: part-time, May-June

 

Salary:  $20.00 /hour, 

1/1:30 PM to 5:30 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with planning, preparing and implementing developmentally appropriate individual and group activities
  • Assist with setting up and maintaining a clean, safe and healthy classroom environment
  • Interact in a caring and professional manner with children and families while recognizing and maintaining confidentiality standards and requirements

Qualifications:

Previous experience in Reggio-Emilia inspired  or familiarity with the methodology and  willingness to learn. CDA or AS in ECE (current students welcome to apply), CPR/First Aid Cert, Min 2 years experience working with children aged 1-5. Ability to lift 40 lbs. Positive attitude and a sense of adventure :)

Minimum Education Level: Highschool Graduate or GED
Preferred Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
