Description:

The Education Director is responsible for the overall coordination, supervision and administration of the total program of special education services to children and their families.  These responsibilities include, but are not limited to delivery of developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities that meet the emotional, physical, intellectual and social needs of the children; parent engagement activities; staff development; and community outreach.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Education
  • Valid NYS Certification in Early Childhood Education (B – 2)
  • Valid NYS Certification in Special Education (B-2)
  • At least two years Group Teacher experience plus academic course work appropriate to the age of children in the Program.
