Full-Time Assistant Teacher

Responsibilities:

Under the guidance of the education director, the assistant teacher's responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the safety and well-being of children by providing a clean and healthy environment.
• Providing a warm, nurturing environment that is conducive to learning.
• Assisting in screening children for potential developmental delays.
• Observing and documenting children's actions and language as part of ongoing assessment.
• Individualizing for children with I.E.P.s
• Assisting with child outcomes analyses three times annually.
• Communicating with parents, guardians or caregivers.
• Participating in ongoing professional development and implementing new skills.
