Job Description

Job Description:Β Would you like to teach in a warm and nurturing learning environment where teachers are supported and creativity is encouraged? ABC is currently hiring for a leadΒ infant/toddler teacherΒ at the Graham School at Echo Park (1841 Park Avenue), in an Early Head Start classroom for children birth-age 3.

Responsibilities

ResponsibilitiesΒ of the teacher include:

  • Lesson planning, conducting assessment, and curriculum implementation
  • Maintaining a safe, organized learning environment
  • Maintaining accurate and timely classroom records/documentation
Qualifications

QualificationsΒ of the teacher:

  • Infant/Toddler CDA, OR Associate's in Early Childhood Education, OR NYS Early Childhood Education license (initial certification accepted)
  • Experience working with children ages 0-3
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Being joyous with children and maintaining high standards, non-negotiable.
  • Minimum Education Level: Associate's Degree
  • Preferred Education Level: NYS Teacher Certification
