Our BumbleBeesRus location on Targee Street in the Staten Island neighborhood of Park Hill offers 3K and 4K programs. 

Our dedicated professional teaching staff provide comprehensive early childhood education in a caring and intellectually supportive environment that encourages learning and growth. 

We offer daycare from 8:00am - 6:00pm and Extended Care & Summer Program Options are available. 

We accept HRA-ACD vouchers and have a beautiful on-site playground!

CHCR operates three not-for-profit family health centers on Staten Island, including two facilities in Port Richmond and one in Stapleton-St. George. We provide primary health care and dental care for all ages, along with a range of specialties, including behavioral health care, obstetrics and gynecology, podiatry, nutritional counseling, wellness, and prenatal and post-partum care. We also provide insurance enrollment assistance. At CHCR, we provide quality care without regard to a patient's ability to pay. We accept private insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid and have sliding-scale fees for uninsured patients based on family size and income.

The Healthy Families Staten Island (affiliated with Healthy Families New York/ America) is a home visiting program that matches parents with knowledgeable and caring workers who provide information and support during pregnancy and early childhood. Services include helping families access community resources and services, educating families on parenting and child development, connecting families with medical providers, and assessing children for developmental delays.

Child Parent Psychotherapy Preventive Program is provided by the Jewish Board on Staten Island to all families with children 0-5 years old that have experienced a trauma exposure with symptoms. Our program is evidence base and offers a repair to the child-parent relationship. Our services are completely free, we take walk-in referrals or ACS referrals.

Personal Child Care Development Inc. is dedicated to offering compassionate early intervention services, including evaluation and therapeutic support, to children and families.

A federal initiative created by the National Center for Healthy Safe Children and funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Project LAUNCH has a mission “to promote the wellness of young children ages birth to 8 by addressing the physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and behavioral aspects of their development.” With a goal to prepare children for success in school, Project LAUNCH specifically aims to: Ensure children are ready to learn when entering school Improve coordination and collaboration amongst systems serving children Build infrastructure by increasing the availability of quality, evidence-based programming Increase children’s and their families’ access to top-notch prevention, wellness, and physical and behavioral health services Richmond University Medical Center is amongst a handful of grant recipients for Project LAUNCH, a highly competitive program with only 12 other grantees at any given time. What we learn throughout the five-year term of the grant will help communities influence state-, territorial-, and tribal-level systems changes and policy improvements.

Spence-Chapin can provide you with comprehensive free services as you work with one of our dedicated social workers to create a plan for you and your baby. These services include:

Support and Counseling: We Offer a safe space to consider all your options with free, confidential, and supportive counseling. You can speak with us however you feel most comfortable - phone, email, text, in-person, or via virtual video counseling.

Newborn Interim / Respite Care: Our Interim Care Program will allow you to continue counseling to fully explore all options while your child is care for by a nurturing caregiver in a loving home. While your baby is in interim care, you will retain your legal rights and be able to visit with your baby.

Financial Assistance: Our services will always be 100% free for you. In addition, we can also provide pregnancy-related medical and living expenses. These may include expenses for rent, utilities, groceries and transportation, and more. Your social worker can support you in determining what you qualify for within state guidelines.

Birth Parent Support and Community: Making an adoption plan is an act of courage that deserves ongoing support. Spence-Chapin provides birth parents a supportive community and a connection to professionals who understand all aspects of adoption. If you choose to, you can receive ongoing and free support from Spence-Chapin, including support groups, individual counseling sessions, and more. Our peer-led support group meets monthly to explore feelings and to share stories in a safe, supportive space. The group is open to all birthparents even if their adoptions were not planned through Spence -Chapin.

Case Management and Referrals: Through the free counseling you receive, your counselor will have resources available to support the plan you choose for the future. Resources may include on-going counseling, referrals for housing and more.
