The New York Early Childhood Professional Development Institute is proud to observe the resolution, following Governor Cuomo’s Executive Order, and adopted by the City University of New York yesterday, declaring Friday, June 19, 2020, as a CUNY-wide holiday “in observance of Juneteenth [which] honors the history, perseverance, and achievements of African Americans, and celebrates America’s progress and continuing commitment to realizing the principles of liberty and equality upon which our nation was founded.
