Last weekend, the Staten Island Alliance for North Shore Children and Families presented the 4th Annual Early Learn event. One hundred families attended the event at the Staten Island Children’s Museum where they met with childcare providers, 3K and Pre K for All providers, and afterschool programs. The event also featured activities for children including story time, interactive sessions and Zumba. Twenty partner organizations participated and helped to make the day a success.
The Staten Island Alliance for North Shore Children and Families is a collective impact initiative, bringing together local stakeholders interested in improving the outcomes for young children and their families. The Institute serves as the backbone organization for these coordinated efforts, partnering closely with the Alliance’s Steering Committee. We look forward to continuing to help the Alliance improve early childhood education opportunities for young children and their families on Staten Island.
