Salary/Wage: $48,000 - $70,000 a year (compensation based on education, college credits, experience and Teacher certification.)

Job Type: Full-time

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Responsibilities:

Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of the children in the program

 Provide various experiences and activities for children including songs, games and story telling

 Provide weekly and monthly schedules and lesson plans of activities

 Develop culturally appropriate programs and activities

 Develop activities that introduce math and literacy concepts

Qualifications:

Prek lead teacher Must have one of the following:

Bachelor's degree in early childhood or related field and a written study plan approved by an accredited college for obtaining early childhood certification.
Teaching license or certificate (birth-Grade 2), (n-6), or (Prek-6)
Teaching license or certificate for children with disabilities (Birth-Grade 2)

Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education Level: NYS Teacher Certification
