Certified or Active Study Plan Teacher

Description:

Group/Lead Teacher position for Pre-School or Pre-K Classroom; Teacher is responsible for completion of lesson plans, student screenings and assessments.  Must be able to work in collaboration with Assistant Teachers as one cohesive classroom Team.  Active Participation in Group Staff, Parent and Community Activities and Events is expected and appreciated.

Responsibilities:

Leading Classroom by implementing active and engaging age-appropriate lessons; communicate on an on-going basis with team-teachers, parents and administration to effectively plan goals and work to achieve them in meeting the educational and personal needs of students.  Completion of all screening and assessment tools in a timely manner for all classroom students and use this information to create/establish individual learning goals in conjunction with parents for each student. Active participation in Staff meetings, Professional Learning Sessions, and center-wide events/activities.
