Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: •    Design the classroom’s overall organization, which includes but is not limited to teachers’ roles/responsibilities, schedules, lesson plans, classroom events and transitions. •    Write the weekly/monthly pedagogical plan. •    Conduct project work sessions with classroom children. • Design, write, collaborate upon and deliver observational notes, lesson plans, project folders and larger, school-wide events. •    Carry out the daily care of the child: greeting children and families during drop-off and pick-up, leading circle time, setting up provocations, implementing projects, changing diapers, body care and cleaning. •    Conduct individual meetings with parents. •    Provide parents continuous and specific information about their children's educational, social and emotional processes in person during drop-off and pick-up and through the Tadpoles’ communication server. •    Responsible for the organization of walks or activities outside the center. •    Participate in research projects. •    Meet regularly with the pedagogista and director to collaborate upon all aspects of one’s responsibilities and overall care of the children and families of the class. •    Collaborate with all staff members to ensure the best care for all children is met each and every day.

Lead teachers must possess a Bachelors or Associates degree in Early Childhood Education and 3 years of classroom experience.  Ideal candidates work collaboratively and see themselves as learners alongside the children they care for.
