Riverdale Neighborhood House (RNH), a nonprofit organization in the northwest Bronx, is seeking a full time Director of Early Childhood Education for its highly regarded programs for young children. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, this person will be responsible for the continued success and future development of early childhood education at RNH.

Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities include insuring the highest quality programming consistent with NAEYC standards by directing and guiding curriculum planning and the development of professional staff. Compliance with all City and State regulations is essential along with being current on the latest trends and best practices in early childhood education.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have an M.S. Education including at least five years of experience teaching pre-school children with some experience in a supervisory role. This individual will be comfortable interacting with parents, colleagues and staff from the Department of Education and the Department of Health as well as representing RNH to the general public.
