Kane Street Kids provides students ages two to five with the very highest quality Jewish pre-school education.
Our goal at Kane Street Kids is to promote the intellectual, emotional, physical and spiritual growth of children within a comfortable, progressive Jewish environment. We warmly welcome families of all religions and religious approaches, as long as they are open to the practice of Jewish customs and traditions in the classroom.
Daily classroom schedules reflect a balance between structure and independent choice. Our experienced, master teachers establish familiar routines that include many opportunities for each child to learn and explore individually, in small groups and as a class.
Following the lead and instructions of the regular teacher in the classroom. (Each classroom has two teachers so one of the regular teachers would be working with you). The position will require positive gentle interactions with children; participating in music, movement, circle time and all activities. It will also involve cleaning and preparing materials for activities.
