United Activities Unlimited - PS 45 Compass Program

The UAU-COMPASS After-School Program is proudly funded by the NYC Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) at no-cost-to-families. The COMPASS Elementary model is a robust design full of opportunities for children in grades K-5 to explore their interests and creativity. The COMPASS program supports social and emotional learning, provides age-appropriate programming that is hands-on, project-based and aligned with educational standards. The COMPASS program offers homework help, academic enrichment activities in STEM and Literacy, quality arts instruction and physical activity, including nutritional programming to promote healthy living. The UAU-COMPASS After-School programs operate September-June, Monday-Friday 3 hours daily, and are open on 13 select school holidays and breaks.
