Teacher Assistant for 3 year old class

Description:

Work within the framework of the sponsoring agency and its policies and procedures., assist in the planning  and execution of the preschool program for individual children as well as the group to meet the educational, social and health needs of the group as well as the individual under the supervision of the group teacher. Share in the responsibility of maximizing  constructive use of materials, assist in planning the use of community resources to enrich the educational content of the children's program. Participate in discussions aimed at developing a program of sound educational goals appropriate to the age and developmental level  of children.

Take responsibility for their own personal growth by sharing with classroom associates their mutual knowledge about child development and the community which the program serves. Promote their own personal growth through individual conferences, related training, group conferences and staff meetings, Develop positive relationships with parents and attend and participate in group parent meetings. Other related duties consistent with the above requirements.
