Join New York City Teens Connections as they host an interactive virtual training: The Impact of Trauma: Creating a More Sensitive Environment for Youth, facilitated by the New York Psychotherapy and Counseling Center (NYPCC). 

NYPCC is a non-profit, community-oriented mental health organization, licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health. NYPCC provides exceptional services to children, adolescents and adults throughout the NYC area.

Objectives:

  • Integrate principals of trauma-informed care
  • Incorporate the 3 R's: Realize, Recognize, and Respond appropriately to behaviors through a trauma lens
  • Learn to respond to one's own needs for self-care
