Assistant Teachers for Infant and Toddlers

Purple Circle Early Childhood Program is seeking Assistant Teachers for our Infant and Toddler Program. Teachers will be responsible for children ages 3 – 12 months or 13 - 24 months.

The following positions are available and are all Monday through Friday:

Full Time Assistant Teacher in the Infant 1 Classroom, children ages 3 – 12 months, 8:30am – 4:00pm

Full Time Assistant Teacher in the Infant 1 Classroom, children ages 3 – 12 months, 10:00am – 6:00pm

Part Time Assistant Teacher in the Infant 1 Classroom, children ages 3 – 12 months, 2:00pm – 6:00pm.

Part-Time Assistant Teacher in the Infant 2 Classroom, children ages 13 – 24 months, 2:00pm – 6:00pm

Assistant Teachers shall cooperate with the Director, Assistant Director, Lead Teacher, assistant teachers and other school personnel in organizing, planning and implementing the educational philosophy and vision of Purple Circle. 

Utilizing input from the Lead Teacher, and his or her own knowledge of child development and early childhood education and observation, Assistants shall help plan and develop a meaningful curriculum for Infants and Toddlers. This curriculum will incorporate the center’s philosophy and goals.

Salary is commensurate with experience; negotiable.

BA in Early Childhood Education and 2 years experience in an Infant Toddler classroom, preferred.
