Description:

We are seeking a head teacher for our Pre-K classroom of 19 children and 2 assistant teachers. The ideal candidate is a warm, kind, good-humored person who can work well in a team with two assistant teachers, can plan and implement curriculum in a Progressive educational setting, and communicate effectively with parents and caregivers.

Responsibilities:

Plan and implement curriculum tailored to the individual needs of the students

Collaborate with assistant teachers, school psychologist, other consultants, and the director

Develop strong partnerships with parents

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Early Childhood Education and NYS Certification preferred, candidates who are in process will be considered

Conversational Spanish a plus, but not required
