Assistant Teacher

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the health, safety, and prosperity of the children in their care.

Assist in implementing a daily program that promotes the children's physical, cognitive, social, and emotional growth.

Assist in creating lesson plans.

Shares concerns regarding the children with lead teacher and directors.

Assists with classroom paperwork.

Maintains open communication with parents.

Maintains positive and safe classroom environment where learning is encouraged in the absence of the lead teacher.

Completes yearly training requirements.
