Lead Toddler Teacher

Description:

We are seeking a Lead Toddler Teacher to join our Harmony Family! Our toddler class is made up on 12 students ranging from 18-36 months old. The hours at M-F  8am-4pm. 

Responsibilities:

-This individual will plan and implement age appropriate lessons for children

-Instruct children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth

-Create a fun and safe learning environment

-Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime

-Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents

-Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress

-Maintain the health and safety of all students

-Develop and maintain portfolio for each child and conduct two parent-teacher conferences per year with each family

-Engaging with children during daily outdoor play

-Cleaning in accordance to state regulations

-Participate in 15 hours of Professional Development annually

Qualifications:

-Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields

-Demonstrate a strong knowledge of appropriate practices in Early Childhood development

-Passionate about working with children

-Ability to build rapport with children

-Positive and patient demeanor

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-Must be a team player
