Our After School Program is hiring part-time Lead and Assistant Teachers to work with children 5 to 12 years old and with our passionate After School/Summer Camp team.

Summer Camp Hours are: 7:00am - 6:00pm, Monday - Friday

After School Hours are: 2:00pm to 6:00pm, Monday - Friday. We also offer additional hours available on the days the Guilderland School District is closed/vacation hours and over summer breaks.

This position is ideal for the individual who is looking to gain experience working with school age children. Candidate should enjoy working with children, have strong interpersonal skills, and some customer service experience. We provide great working environment centered around a team approach.

Responsibilities:

Lesson Planning

Curriculum implementation

Maintaining confidentiality

Promoting child health & safety

Knowledge of security and evacuation procedures

Constant supervision of children/engaging children in activities

Modeling appropriate behavior

Interaction with children on their level

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED

2+ years working with children 12 yrs old and UNDER

Minimum of 18 years of age

Able to lift, push, or pull 40 lbs
