Preschool and pre-K teacher's teacher are responsible for helping children develop social skills and monitoring a range of daily activities, from lay learning to rest time. You need to be flexible and  creative while maintaining structure and sticking to schedules.

• We are  looking for a qualified and  experienced teacher for preschool  classroom.
• The person should be friendly, outgoing, energetic, playful, responsible and respectful with the ability to receive constructive criticism.
• Have knowledge  of developmentally age appropriate  practices.
• Plan and implement weekly/monthly curriculums
• Evaluate and monitor children's educational  progress
• Plan indoor/outdoor activities
• Maintain  a clean and  organize classroom
• Responsible  for  meeting with  parents  daily,  to discuss  student progress
• Supervises  a given group of children  in all activities;  including trips and   outings.
• Supervises  a given group of children  in all activities;  including trips and   outings.
• Promotes the professional growth of classroom association by sharing mutual knowledge
• Promotes sound parent relationships by attending and participating in group parent meetings
• Maintains objectives staff relationships
• Conducts regular group conferences based on daily observation of associates performance
• Share records with staff members when appropriate and in line with compliance standards
• Completes  assessments  related  to curriculum  (i.e. progress of  the children)
• Completes all administrative responsibilities in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:

•Experience working with children in early childhood education

• Ability to work and  follow, DOH, DOE & ACS   guidelines
• Knowledge  of Teaching  Strategies  Gold
• Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education with a NYS Teacher Certification Birth  through  second  grade or  Nursery  through grade.
• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education with at least 2 years of teaching experience in early childhood education and diligently taking teacher exams

• Meet with parents
