It has guided us through years of growth, collaboration, and progress, serving as a visual representation of our mission and values.

Now, as we continue to work toward supporting and strengthening New York’s early childhood workforce, we’re thrilled to unveil our brand-new logo.

Why the change? After 20 years, we recognized the need for a design that reflects the dynamic organization we are today while also acknowledging our origins and our history.

Here’s how our new logo meets the goals we set out to achieve:

A modern, clean look
Our new logo features a modern design that maintains its visual impact at any size. Its clean, streamlined aesthetic pays homage to our original logo, which was detailed and meaningful.

A brighter, simpler color palette
Our new logo embraces a fresh, bright color palette that remains faithful to our original.

Versatility across platforms
Rounded cropping often didn’t do our original logo justice. Our new logo adapts beautifully to a variety of formats.

Alignment with our partners
Our Institute works alongside many partners across the state, and we wanted our logo to complement others without mimicking them! Our new logo sits comfortably in collaborative spaces while maintaining its unique identity.

A mission-driven design
While our original logo featured a literal representation of our mission — with its adult and child figures, pathways, and buildings — we wanted a more conceptual approach. The new design encapsulates the essence of our work in a way that’s timeless and meaningful.

Preserving our legacy
Although the look is new, the “feel” remains true to the values and history it represents. We worked hard to ensure this new chapter represents the legacy of the logo that has served us well for the past 20 years.

We hope you’ll join us in welcoming this new chapter, and we’re looking forward to continuing this journey with you.

A fresh logo for a bright future For more than two decades, our logo has been a proud symbol of […]

[111
[243
