The Institute has mailed a copy of the revised New York State Early Learning Guidelines<\/a>\u00a0 to every licensed center and every early childhood faculty member throughout the state.

The revised New York State Early Learning Guidelines is a child development resource for all early childhood educators working with children from birth through age eight. The Guidelines provide information about children’s development as well as specific instructional, environmental and family engagement strategies to use to support young children\u2019s development. The Early Learning Guidelines and the New York State Core Body of Knowledge: Core Competencies for Early Childhood Educators, <\/a>along with the New York State Early Learning Standards<\/a> comprise the early learning framework in New York State.
