Manhattan Schoolhouse, a Reggio Emilia inspired daycare and preschool, serving children ages 3 months - 5 years of age, is searching for a co-director for its new site opening in Chelsea. Manhattan Schoolhouse is a year round program that provides love and education for children and families. Staff members at Manhattan Schoolhouse work collaboratively to create open-ended, creative experiences in which children can learn about their world and from each other.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess a Masters or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and NY state certification in Early Childhood Education, and a minimum of 3 years of classroom experience. Ideal candidates are warm, nurturing educators who respect children as individuals and their need to explore their environment. Candidates must have strong collaboration skills and a desire to learn from others.
