Kane Street Kids is looking for teachers who create curricula based on the children’s interests and developmental needs and who provide a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for the children to grow and explore. We value individuals who work together with the other teachers, parents, and the larger community to construct holistic, enjoyable, and educational experiences for the young children at Kane Street Kids.

Responsibilities:

Leading a classroom, creating curriculum, mentoring two assistants

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience as an early childhood head teacher

Working towards a Masters in early childhood education preferred

NYS Certification or working towards 

Knowledge of Jewish curriculum, a plus!
