Preschool Teacher Director

Description:

• Develops and maintains quality standards of early childhood education designed to meet the educational, physical and social needs of children and implements the Creative Curriculum.
• Supervise employees and volunteers at the center at all times.
• Develop and plan the education program for the childcare/ Preschool program.
• Ensure the professional growth of educational staff.
• Actively participate in the recruitment of children to the center which includes devising strategies to increase and maintain enrollment throughout the year.
• Collaborate with Family Services to manage intake and placement of new children at the center.
• Coordinate and supervise the efforts of the early childhood staff in developing and maintaining program components including education, health, nutrition, social services, parent involvement, mental health and disabilities.
• Ensure that all program services are of the highest qualities.
• Maintain sound financial management over program budgets, as well as helping site directors manage their program budgets and ensure timely collection of parent's fees.
• Represent the child care center and build strong working relationships with the Administrations for Children's Services (ACS).
