Description:

Looking for a preschool teacher who is warm and friendly, to work with three years old. Small classroom setting.

Responsibilities:

Responsibility • Conduct and monitor activity programs designed for young children • Supervise and lead children in developmentally appropriate practice including read-aloud, community walks & indoor play activities. • Arrange room and furniture for lunch and rest periods • Assist with eating, dressing and toileting. • MUST understand Child development & age appropriate activities • Must be familiar with teaching Strategies Gold assessment tool • Must be familiar with Creative Curriculum • Submit written observations on Teaching strategies Gold • Must be organized with student records • Must be able to write monthly newsletter • Maintain Child care equipment and assist in housekeeping duties • Maintain Lesson Plans and individualized lesson plan for all child. • Attend monthly meetings and workshops to develop and discuss new teaching methods • Maintain safe, clean classroom.

Qualifications:

Qualifications: Bachelor in Early childhood education, or BS in related field pursing NYS teacher certification. At least three year of experience, related to early childhood education; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have or be able to obtain a DOI fingerprinting background. Teacher must be familiar with working in a childcare setting.
