Early Childhood Director (NYC UPK)

St. Elizabeth's school in the Washington Heights neighborhood of New York City is looking for an early childhood director for it's Universal Pre-K Program. We are seeking a highly motivated and creative director to help support our teachers deliver high level instruction that meets the needs of all children! An ideal candidate is an experienced UPK teacher or program leader, with experience working within New York's City UPK framework and requirements.

Start Date: Immediate

Responsibilities:

The director will be responsible for supervising UPK classrooms and teachers, managing program data and New York City Department of Education reporting.

Qualifications:

Position Requirements: Applicants MUST hold (one) of the following NY State Certifications

-NY State Building Leader Certification

-NY State Early Childhood Certification

-NY State K-5 Elementary Certification
