Description:

An assistant teacher position in a 3k classroom is currently open for the school year 2023-2024. Stepping Stones is looking for someone who is available Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm. We are looking for someone who works well with three year olds, enjoys being part of a team, is willing to give ideas and assist in teaching and lesson planning with the lead teacher. We are looking for someone who has had experience working in a classroom. Stepping Stones uses an app to communicate with parents as well as face to face communication so being tech savvy is a quality we are also looking for.

Responsibilities:

Assist in planning and preparing lesson plans for three year olds.
Providing and maintaining a nurturing and safe environment for all.
Designs and maintains classroom climate to include visual aids related to curriculum and age/stage of development.
Assists children with personal care activities to include toileting, feeding and cleanliness needs.
Attending staff meetings and professional development courses.

Qualifications:

At least one year of classroom experience is required.

Minimum Education Level: Highschool Graduate or GED

Preferred Education Level: Associate's Degree
