Welcome to the Boys & Girls Club of Metro Queens where learning begins from the heart. We are a new NYCEEC UPK Program that will provide a rich learning environment that aids in the growth of ALL children. Our goal is to fulfill the needs of the "whole child" in their individual learning process. We are looking for individuals who are caring, nurturing and passionate about educating ALL children. Since this will be our first year opening our doors, we have decided to follow the DOE Calendar as well as conduct the school year for only ten months. In addition, we are in the heart of Queens and seeking candidates who are live within the five boroughs. Qualifications:

  • Birth-2 Certification with Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and in pursuit of a Master's Degree
  • Clear speaking and listening skills
  • Critical thinking and problem solving techniques of child management
  • Excellent Presentation skills and Writing
  • Familiar with Teaching Strategies Gold & Units of Study
  • Guiding children's behavior
  • Organization
  • Passionate about children
  • Social perceptiveness
