We are seeking for reliable, punctual, kind, and passionate individuals who are interested in child development, early childhood education, or other related fields. You MUST have at least a bachelor’s degree. Education majors (or a related field) are preferred. Those with childcare, teaching, or volunteer (education-related) experience are also encouraged to apply! Set your own schedule, rate, and make use of your extra time to earn additional income. This is a part-time opportunity at an ed-tech startup. No fee required to be on the platform.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Punctual school pickup, transport to/from after-school classes, play dates, appointments (if any).
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate, educational and engaging activities/lessons for young child(ren).
  • Provide additional instructions to child(ren), based on their learning development, capabilities, and interests.
  • Provide supervision for a child(ren) in a structured and safe environment.
  • Assist the child(ren) with the daily homework assignments if needed.
  • Keep your availability calendar up to date, answer inquiries from families, and have a profile updated on our site that lists information about you and your skills.

Qualifications:

Requirements:
  • Must be available at least 3 times a week from 2:00 pm on weekdays during school year
  • Proven experience in childcare and/or teaching
  • A minimum bachelor’s degree, preferably in education or related field
  • A degree in teaching or certification in the education field is a plus
  • Certifications in Infant & Child CPR/AED and First Aid
  • Reside in NYC or in the nearby area
