We are seeking a Teacher to be part of a team of professionals dedicated to the education of young children. As a team leader, the Co-Teacher is responsible for curriculum implementation, the overall supervision and management of a safe, developmentally appropriate preschool classroom, parent involvement, and ensuring compliance with city and state regulatory agencies. Candidates must be extremely motivated, passionate, and capable of multi-tasking. Must have a positive attitude and able to interact with families, parents and children.

• Conduct and monitor activity programs designed for young children
• Supervise and lead children in developmentally appropriate practice including read-aloud, community walks & indoor play activities.
• Arrange room and furniture for lunch and rest periods
• Assist with eating, dressing and toileting.
• MUST understand Child development & age appropriate activities
• Must be familiar with teaching Strategies Gold assessment tool
• Must be familiar with Creative Curriculum
• Submit written observations on Teaching strategies Gold
• Must be organized with student records
• Must be able to write monthly newsletter
• Maintain Child care equipment and assist in housekeeping duties
• Maintain Lesson Plans and individualized lesson plan for all child.
• Attend monthly meetings and workshops to develop and discuss new teaching methods
• Maintain safe, clean classroom.
