Center Education Coordinator

Supports the Teaching Staff to ensure that the mission and educational goals of the center are achieved, including DAP and appropriate curriculum implementation. Competitive salary and benefits. Part time, 20 hours per week, flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities:

Provides observation, assessment, feedback and coaching of early childhood and school age staff to improve employee practice and program outcomes. Participates in record keeping, data collection and analysis to guide professional development goals for center staff.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education & 5 years teaching experience required. Familiarity with Early Childhood Assessment tools, Core Body of Knowledge, NYS Early Learning Guidelines and Teaching Strategies is a plus. NYS Early Learning Training Credential preferred.
